East of Memphis Website
A simple, classy website for a guitar troubador
Jimmy’s request
Jimmy (a.k.a. East of Memphis) needed a simple website for his musical project. He wanted something that showed his professional approach to his craft and shared his style, but he didn’t need lots of pages or clutter. As a working musician, Jimmy needed to be able to make changes to his site on the fly. He also needed it to integrate well with his other online presences, like his Facebook page and his Bandcamp.
Our solutions
First we created a sleek East of Memphis mark with text and a compass, and then paired it with an awesome photo of the Cheatham County, TN, Mound Bottoms (which are literally to the east of Memphis!). Using these items as a launch point, we built Jimmy a swell little one-page website for East of Memphis, with all of the important information in a compact and eye-catching package. The website can include show information, video, music widgets, external links and a brand identity at a glance. A contact form right on the page makes Jimmy easy to reach for bookings and gigs.
It was a great experience having Blustery Day Design build my website. They were focused on my specific needs as a working musician. Hire these ladies.
