Our deep graphic design experience goes into creating a stunning, custom cross-stitch pattern that looks just like your people & pets, and then we stitch it up for you by hand – for a one-of-a-kind portrait that makes a meaningful decor item or a thoughtful gift!

The process

1. Place your order
In our shop, choose how many characters you want your portrait to contain, as well as framing options, and then submit your order and payment.
2. Watch for an email from Blustery Day Design
It'll come from "hello@blusterydaydesign . com" within a few days — you might need to check that spam folder.
3. Send us your details
We'll note what details are needed from you (including photos, descriptions and wording).
4. We create the design
This is an exciting step! We'll email you your first look, as a digital proof of the design.
5. Approve the design
Once you check it over thoroughly for errors, just give us your approval to go ahead.
6. We hand stitch the portrait and send it to you!
Tunes are cranked up while we get to stitching. Once it's complete, we lovingly say goodbye and ship your finished portrait on to you!
